But for toy manufacturer Casga, whose fortunes were built on the popularity of Dandivine merchandise, that peace has come at a cost. Having relied too heavily on the legendary robot's fame, the company has steadily fallen into decline. Desperate to revive both Dandivine and his struggling business, Casga's president, Genjurou Shijima, dreams of the robot's return—even if it means disrupting the peace. Then, as if in answer to his wish, the Aposdolls suddenly reappear in Tokyo. As panic spreads among a population that has known nothing but peace for two decades, high school student Gekiha Shijima is recruited by his uncle, Yuusaku Kuroiwa, the former main pilot of Dandivine.
